An Iranian MP has said that the West must abide by the rules, deliver its promises, compensate the damages it has made materially and psychologically and also remove all the sanctions imposed on the Iranian nation. “It’s not only the demand of our Foreign Ministry but also every Iranian citizen.”

Joining our program “Bedoune Khatkhordegi” Deputy Director for National Security and International Policy Commission of the Parliament Ebrahim Azizi made his remarks on the latest statement by the French Foreign Minister who had asked Iran to choose between the collapse of the negotiations and the JCPOA.

Ebrahim Azizi stated that the Foreign Minister of France had said that Iran’s constant nuclear development means that we’re getting closer to the end of the road rapidly! He pointed out that the Americans with the assistance they’ve received from the Europeans are the ones who’ve prepared the basis for the fall of the deal. “The Americans left the deal and the Europeans didn’t comply with their commitments and this is the main reason behind the Nuclear deal being on the brink of collapse.”

Ebrahim Azizi also said that Iran remained committed while receiving empty promises from the other side.

He insisted that Iran is ready for a good deal and said that today the Iranian nation is in a state of distrust towards Europe and the US. Therefore, the other side of the table must show their commitment to the deal so the people of Iran’s trust is restored. “We should not forget that Iran has always remained a committed signatory to the deal.”

Azizi called the US and the EU the main culprits behind the current sorrowful state of the Nuclear Deal and said that Europe has never maintained an independent policy from the US. “The policy of maximum pressure and threat won’t give them any result and the Islamic Republic of Iran would not accept it too. The Brave Iranian nation has never admitted to threats or disrespectful behaviors.”

Ebrahim Azizi added that the West must abide by the rules, deliver its promises, compensate the damages it has made materially and psychologically and also remove all the sanctions imposed on the Iranian nation “It’s not only the demand of our Foreign Ministry but also every Iranian citizen.”

He reiterated that the JCPOA had collapsed the day when the US left the deal in 2018 and the Europeans followed them by not delivering their promises; “the refrained from their commitments and must be blamed for the JCPOA’s current state.”
