In a live interview with "Rouydad" program, Hossein Afrakhteh stated that the Iranian team provided the P5+1 with a new document; “While respecting the previous document, the Iranian came with new considerations.”

“These two documents were presented by Iran in the seventh round of negotiations, but after some ups and downs, the document was abandoned in June, and today the parties are working on a new document provided by Iran” he added.

He then stated that our country’s new government is considering some recently developed plans and insisted on being the main focus of the talks, noting that our Foreign Minister also announced that the in this round of negotiations, they’re concentrating on the sale of Iranian oil so that our country will receive oil sales money in full.

Afrakhteh also evaluated the previous and new rounds of negotiations and said; “The Iranian delegation actively entered the new round and instead of waiting for the other side to submit proposals, it has already entered the field with three documents and three separate texts.”

He continued; “The third document has not been yet presented, but the situation is in our favor now.”

“The P5 + 1 mainly tried to force Iran to accept concessions beyond the provisions in the JCPOA, but Iran clearly explained its positions and explained its expectation.”

He emphasized; “Iran stated that it will not leave the negotiations and intends to meet its demands within the framework of the JCPOA. We speak our demands clearly and aren’t seeking anything more or less than that included in the JCPOA.”

In this interview with Radio Goftogoo, Afrakhteh stressed; “It seems that the necessary timing has been set, which indicates the Western concern about the bomb issue. Because in recent weeks they published a report that if Iran does not agree by February, it will have the necessary capacity to produce bombs, and therefore they insist that the negotiations be concluded in the next few weeks.”

“The outcome of the negotiations depends on the course of the talks and the degree to which the parties agree on giving points.”
