Kiamurs Yazdanpanah in his interview with Radio Goftogoo’s “Rouydad” programme referred to Daesh’s taking responsibility for last Friday terrorist blast at the Kucha-e Risaladar Mosque in Peshawar, and said there are some serious doubts about what the West’s says of the philosophy of creation of Daesh, its continued activities, and its supposed extermination.

He said the West claims that Daesh does not have any external existence but these attacks defy such claims.

He pointed to Daesh’s track record of hatred against Pakistan’s Shi’a Muslims, saying the issue is rooted in the layers of extremism and nurturing of takfiri tendencies in that country, since these outfits are raised on the destructive mindset of sectarianism, and wrongly believe that paradise is the reward for the killing of Shi’a Muslims.

Yazdanpanah pointed to the brainwashing process and said Pakistan has become a haven for these terrorist groups who have lethal weapons at their disposal to slaughter with ease hundreds of people.

He posed the question: “If the source of these weapons is not the West then from where do they acquire them?”

He added: The fact is that, it is the West which has created the Daesh outfit and over the past two decades is responsible for the killing of millions of innocent Muslims.
Yazdanpanah said the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement also need to answer questions in this regard, and for once it is their responsibility as well to review this problem.

The recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan, he noted, have roots in the creation of Daesh, especially in view of the claim that this grouplet has been destroyed. As a matter of fact, he added: “Worldwide efforts are required to weed out this group.”

The Iranian expert believes that whenever the opportunity arises and whenever it finds the conditions suitable Daesh indulges in such acts of terrorism.

He said these acts of terrorism also put a question mark on Pakistan’s armed forces: Why do such acts of hatred with multiple dimensions occur in Pakistan?

Thus, the government of Pakistan should provide answers to the thriving of Daesh and its hate-mongering belief.
