The Spokesperson of the Iranian Military has said that the Zolfeqar 1400 Drill has conveyed triple messages to the people of Iran, friends, and the foes.
General Amir Shahin Taqikhani had joined our “Rooydad” program and explained the targets which had to be achieved through the latest military drills in the Oman Sea region. “The Military and the Armed forces of Iran must always remain prepared for any scenario while maintaining and upgrading its capabilities; it guarantees the sustainable peace inside the territories and on the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
General Taqikhani said that such a level of readiness is possible by constantly upgrading the level of our training; “The best stage for practicing these training are the drills which are designed as per a real war scenario. Our soldiers, noncommissioned and commissioned officers, and the commanders have their role according to their ranks and position as well.”
He pointed towards hundreds of drills executed by the Iranian Military saying: “Our Army, Air force, and The Navy are engaged in the Zolfaqar 1400 Military exercises which are held from the Sea of Oman to the latitude of ten degrees of the Indian Ocean as well as inside our southern provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, and Hurmuzgan.”
Taqikhani further said that during the exercises we’re bringing our indigenously made machinery and weapons under a practical and rigorous test and simultaneously practicing the tactics designed by our colleagues in rank into action.
The Spokesperson of the Iranian Military called relying on our youth and evaluation of our strategies and tactics as other targets of the drills and said that defending independence and national integrity is the main goal of our ranks. “By the grace of Allah, we’ve well performed in the previous drills and demonstrated our psychological and combat readiness as well.”
He also called designing a drill according to a real warzone a difficult goal to achieve; Especially, if live rounds and real ammunition and weapons are being used in the drill. “None of them are blank.” He said.
General Taqikhani emphasized that these drills are performed on a vast and practical ground where the forces are divided into attackers and defenders while the jury team tests the situations and rates the preparedness of the forces.
During the interview, Taqikhani also said that the Zolfaqar 1400 drills consist of Army Aviation wars, intelligence coverage, Drone Aircraft, and Submarine missions, etc. “It conveys many messages too. The first one is intended for the citizens of Iran. We assure them of our capability to defend the country.”
“The second message is for our friends and brotherly countries of the region so it becomes clear for them that the security can and must be maintained by the countries of the region.”
The Spokesman of the Military of the Islamic Republic of Iran warned the enemies that any notion against Iran and our border integrity would be immediately dealt with by the Military and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran with absolute zeal.
