In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, Iran’s former ambassador to Jordan stressed that the message of Iran's undisputed power has reached the Arabs of the region, and that regional governments have to establish good relations with Iran and enjoy its benefits.
In this interview with "Rouydad", Mostafa Moslehzadeh analyzed the region’s Arabs request to establish good diplomatic relations with Iran and explained; “When a superpower tries to force other countries to do what it says, it demands them to obey its orders.”
He continued; “The United States demands such an obedience from Saudi Arabia, and it wants Egypt and Jordan to establish relations with Israel. In the meantime, there is a country that does not obey this superpower and will certainly face a challenge, and we see an example of this in relation to Iran, which leads to sanctions, war and assassinations.”
Moslehzadeh added; “Despite all the pressures of the US government, Iran didn’t give up, rather retaliated.”
“For instance, when an American drone entered Iranian waters, we shot it down with a missile, and when a boat carrying American commandos entered our waters, we arrested them all and held them captive for a while.”
The political expert recalled the assassination of General Soleimani and stated; “Iran fired 13 missiles at Ain al-Assad and the US government did not respond to it.”
Moslehzadeh went on concluding that; “When the relations between a third world country and a superpower reach this point, naturally other states feel that they should enter into good relations with this powerful third world state; even despite the fact that governments such as those of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait or the UAE are obliged to act according to the orders of the United States and put maximum pressure on Iran.”
He emphasized; “Due to the intense challenge between Iran and the United States, the Americans were practically in a weak position; just as the American ship was forced to retreat last week. These are messages to the regions governments which indicate Iran as a power that the United States cannot overthrow and cannot force to obey its orders.”
