A political analyst told Radio Goftogoo that the US is deploying its forces at Ukraine’s border with Russia to satisfy its lust for power and hegemony.
In this episode of “Bedoone Khatkhordegi” show, we discussed the rise in tension between Washington and Moscow with a commentator of international affairs Emad Abshenas.
Abshenas pointed out the deployment of thousands of US forces and military equipment on the Russian border and said that despite US’s provocative actions, Americans are blaming Russia for the rise in tension and a possible attack on Ukraine.
“On Saturday, the Ukrainian President asked the Americans to provide the documents and pieces of evidence against the Russians to Kyiv. It indicates that the Ukrainians are also surprised by the US’s accusations against Moscow; They want to know what is the basis for such charges?” He told Radio Goftogoo.
Emad Abshenas also underlined US’s change in attitude towards Ukraine and called it a strategy based on Washington’s Hegemonic policy created after the fall of the USSR. “US is trying to expand its hegemony to Eastern Europe. Former US Premier had promised Gorbachev that the US won’t ever move towards Eastern Europe. It’s a clear indication of non-reliability of the American establishment.”
Abshenas called Washington a greedy power and added that besides its conflict with Russia under the pretext of Ukraine, the Americans are targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran with an excuse of the nuclear issue and with China by raising the Taiwan show. “They’re after imposing their hegemony under different pretexts.” He said.
Political Analyst also said that under current circumstances, the Chinese economy will gain the first position by 2030 and the American Economy will drop to the second step. “Almost all the financial experts support this fact because US’s economy is currently suffering from a serious recession; instead of addressing this issue, White House is trying to collide with China and destabilize the EU simultaneously.” He emphasized.
