A virology specialist has said that if mask is used continuously for a couple of years, our body will be targeted by mutated versions of normal diseases.
In the latest episode of “Rozaneh” program we discussed the necessity of mass vaccination and the inoculation level among the government employees. Senior lecturer of Iran Medical University and Virologist, Professor Hossein Keyvani had joined us in this show.
He said that that according to the latest statistics 80 percent of the government sector employees have received both their doses of vaccine.
He emphasized on the necessity of mass vaccination saying: “Every day, our body is exposed to multiple types of viruses which helps our immune system to fortify its defensive capabilities; therefore, we need to go to the public places gradually.”
Professor Keyvani cautioned that if the mask is used for a couple of years continuously, our body will face the mutated version of the current ordinary diseases.
He also said that if a person is infected with this virus, he must wait for ten weeks after his complete recovery to receive his dose of vaccine.
Keyvani added that the Corona patients who have faced mild or negligible symptoms of this virus may get inoculated after six weeks of recovery.
“Those who have been engaged by this virus, have a complete immunity for at least six months.” He said.
He also said that the third dose of the vaccine is not scientifically proved yet. “It would be better if the booster shot is inoculated after six months of receiving the second dose.”
