Expert on International Affairs reacted to the speculations regarding the connection between The Vienna Talks and Iran’s Presidential Elections and said that there is not much time left until the Elections and These meetings won’t have a serious influence on the polls.
Talking to The Program Rooydad of Radio Goftogoo Jalal Fayyazi said: “Although we do not receive any details from Vienna if we try to analyze the balance between the comments made by both sides, we may reach this conclusion that there is a deal happening according to the demands of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said that Iran will step back from its countermeasures after the assessment of the result. “My analysis is according to the available information; Meanwhile, Mr. Eraghchi has also restated that so far the meetings have remained positive.
He further said that the Negotiation teams have returned to their countries twice which indicates that the talks are made in full confidence of the higher authorities. “It will help in further firmness of The Negotiations.”
Fayyazi told our host that although the US has restated Iran’s seriousness during the talks on the other hand they claim that the situation is not clear.
He reminded that there is not any indirect negotiation happening between Iran and the US but the meeting results are conveyed to them through the 4+1. “Everyone is talking about the positivity of the talks however, some indifferences remain regarding the embargoes and the Nuclear program.”
Mr. Fayyazi said that Iran had partially stepped back from its obligations in four stages which was a natural reaction to the restrictions being re-imposed and now according to policies of The Islamic Republic of Iran, full compliance will be possible when all the embargoes come to an end.
“The Final deal won’t happen in a short period but an optimistic approach is visible.”
He pointed out the assessment as another important matter whose mechanism and quality must be focused on. If a short-term assessment is put into action, then other execution guarantees must be taken from the Americans.
Answering a question regarding the connection between The Vienna Talks and The Elections He said: “Various political parties believe that there is a force which wants to interconnect these two issues but we should note that such decisions are made by the higher authorities. Therefore, a meaningful relationship between them is out of the question.”
He pointed out the short time until the Elections and said that these talks won’t affect the polls seriously.
