Talking to the program “Bedoone Khat Khordegi”, Dr. Sadeq Salimi Namin said that the Western states have always maintained their boastful point of view and hegemonic attitude throughout their meetings with The Islamic Republic of Iran.

“There are two approaches and mindsets in Iran towards meeting sessions with the West. One of the political circles ties up country’s every issue to the negotiations with US and Europe. This extremist ideology who have held the administration for the past 8 years have ignored the country’s security and interests and have bowed down before the West.”

Salimi Namin added that the other party believes that while the relations with West and other countries across the world must be respected, domestic issues are solvable through the local means and potentials.

He said that the current elections will be the battlefield of these two mindsets. “The citizens must wisely decide between one of these paths, according to their belief and political inclination.

He again said that the West has never stepped back from its hegemonic and supremacist attitude and even after Biden taking the office, a change in their approach towards other countries wasn’t visible. “They’ve continued on with their contemptuous attitude.

Salimi Namin said that Iran’s Establishment as well as the nation is against a negotiation which results in undermining opportunities and self-respect of the country.
