Former minister of Industries Mehdi Ghazanfari insists that in current situation a bunch of attractive slogans can’t be considered as a plan of action and people won’t be allured by them. “It’s not enough.”
Referring to Ayatollah Khamenei’s last week speech regarding the presentation of the managerial qualities of a President, Mehdi Ghazanfari said that we’re facing a complicated situation which is in dire need of change.
“These complications are due to some governance disorders.”
Ghazanfari said that not everybody has the capability to solve these issues. “I won’t point out any particular candidate, but some of them have made such claims, which lack any economic base and logic.
He said that if we sum up the numbers presented by some Presidential candidates, the figures will surpass the country’s total yearly budget. “Liquidation and printing paper money will intensify the inflation; therefore, such an initiative by the candidates is a failure in advance.”
He said that we must elect a person who’s known for his experience and welcomes consultations. His past must brighten our future.
Former Minister said that the Candidates must present a measurable plan which is based upon calculable economic and social models.
Ghazanfari pointed out that a presidential candidate should be in command of principles of governance. He claimed that until now he hasn’t seen this capability in any of them.
He further said that it’s not clear whether they want to create a government which is after prosperity of the nation or a labor based economy.
“If we want to put in action what the Leader has said and create a dynamic election environment, then we must confess that it can’t be achieved by these planning.”
Ghazanfari insisted that the words are not enough for satisfaction of the people and the candidates must pressurize their research teams to get into more elaborated analysis.
He said that the housing, matrimony, stock market and banking are among those issues which must be solved in detail. “One of the candidates claims that he’ll solve all the issues faced by the stock exchange; it’s a nice gesture, because the current government has dragged the citizens in to this misery, but the question remains that how is he going to make it possible?!
He pointed out that there isn’t anything novel in their assertions. “The plans referring to the stock market must be addressed by the economists which is so far vaguely visible.
Talking to the Radio Goftegoo Ghazanfari said that the every candidate has a different priority in solving the issues. “ Previously some of the presidential candidates prioritized the issue of women not being able to attend matches while the population is suffering the economic condition”.
“That’s why the supreme leader is insisting on the issue of economy as the major problem which must be addressed immediately.”
