The producer of ‘Shahid Shahriari’ TV series believes that the international community is significantly part of this program’s audience, and they should witness the dimensions of global pressure on our country regarding nuclear issues.
In an interview with the program "Intersection of Culture" on Radio Goftogoo, Mustafa Elmifard spoke about the formation of this program around the life of "Martyr Shahriari; “It has been three years since the script was written.”
He stated that the TV series is actually a brief biography of Martyr Shahriari's life; “The film starts narrating since one year before his birth to the day of his assassination, referring to a decade later - in 1999 - and puts the achievements of nuclear scientists on view.”
Elmifard explained that in this program, different aspects of this nuclear scientist’s life are explored; “We had a survey on different aspects of the nuclear life of this great martyr; seeing that he appeared to be one of the great achievements of the Islamic Republic.”
He continued; “In this story, we tried to narrate his nuclear life from different aspects and to display numerous pressures imposed on us by different countries.”
“The international community is significantly part of this program’s audience, and they should witness the dimensions of global pressure on our country regarding nuclear issues,” noted Elmifard on Radio Goftogoo.
The producer of "Last Morning" TV series then continued; “Dramatic works generally follow a principle which is the drama of the story.”
Accordingly he mentioned; “One or two years ago, when we were involved in writing the script of this work, we wondered if Martyr Shahriari’s life has enough attraction for the audience so that they would follow these 30-episode series.”
“Everybody goes through a distinct process in their personal life which ultimately leads to some results, but after conducting field and library research, we noticed lots of ups and downs in the life of this great martyr,” he added.
Elmifard then pointed out that Martyr Shahriari had suffered many hardships in his personal life and noted; “Zanjan Radio and Television was in charge of these series since the noble martyr was one of the honors of this province. The provinces deputy of Radio and Television is trying to include the honors of each province in dramatic works in order to introduce them better.”
He stated that it has never been his (team’s) intention to display a Superman and that they were not going to create another hero; “We are only to narrate the life of one person, and if someone criticizes like that, I will answer him.”
