According to Radio Goftogoo news site, Dr. Alireza Davoodi, the political expert, had a phone call interview with the special program of “Glorious Iran” on the occasion of country’s 13th presidential elections, the 6th elections of the city and village Islamic councils, mid-parliamentary elections and the Assembly of Experts".

Regarding the reflection of Iranians participation in their recent elections in international media, Davoodi said; "No media in the world, even the most hostile ones, can ignore this widespread presence of our people."

He noted that the state media, in addition to 27 reputable international channels, were directly covering the presence of Iranians in the elections: "It is interesting that many of these journalists start their reports with sentences that express surprise."

The political expert said that the enemy media, which did everything they could to dissuade people from voting, have now started to show cooking programs etc.

Davoodi then explained that people’s presence in this year's elections is especially surprising for the international news sources from two perspectives; “This year, unlike all previous years, People’s turnout started early in the morning, and this presence was very impressive, and the second point is the participation of Iranians living abroad in the voting.”

He spoke about the participation of Iranians living abroad in more than 50 countries in recent elections and added; "The international media use the phrase (Bravo to Iranians honor) in a variety of words. This widespread presence of people was definitely one of the surprises of our country’s elections, and it’s rooted in our national honor as well as the blood of our martyrs."
