Political Analyst says that standing by the people and working day and night for the nation were among the most important points which the Leader recalled during the endorsement ceremony.
Expert of political affairs Hossein Kan’animoqaddam added that endorsement of Presidential decree is the power which the constitution has provided to the Supreme Leader and just like the founder of the revolution, His excellency Ayatollah Khamenei also appointed the new President.
Kan’animoqaddam also called the Popularity and Legitimacy as the endorsement ceremony’s two important points saying: “Islamic Jurist endorses the popular and legitimate votes through the religious decrees which are according to the Shia theology.
He also mentioned those parts of the speech of Leader where his excellency mentioned the Eid al- Ghadeer and Mubahila historical events and the revelation of the infallibility and Guardianship verses of Quran and called it the basis of the religion-based democracy saying: “First of all, the Leader paid his gratitude to the nation and wished the new President all the divinity and auspices.”
He told our host that the leader has called the endorsement event an epitome of transfer of power in the country. “It was done peacefully and securely which is a perfect example of political versatility of the country and free and healthy electoral system.”
Kan’ani Moqaddam also mentioned the fact that the endorsement event is a clear example of the Peaceful process of the transfer of power in Iran. “The Leader said that the nation overcame the propagation of the enemies and participated in the voting and assured the peaceful transfer of power which has helped the country in maintaining its basic Islamic, revolutionary and hopeful vision.”
He said that the Leader of the nation also recalled the slogans of the President during the election campaigning which focused on standing by the people and said that the President should consider this part of the speech of Ayatollah Khamenei as a decree by the Islamic jurist.
“The Leader said that standing by the people is an opportunity not to be lost but it shouldn’t become a barrier between the government and the intellectuals and experts.”
Hossein Kan’ani Moqaddam also said that the leader has emphasized the direct connection with the people. “Lots of problems exist which must be addressed too but we should not forget that the potentials are far more than the problems.”
