A political analyst says that Iran must show the west in action that it won’t wait for the Nuclear Deal to get restored; otherwise, they’ll build up the pressure.
University professor and political expert Dr. Mohammad Marandi said that the negotiations are not of any importance unless the Americans understand that Iran demands a complete implementation of the JCPOA.
Dr. Marandi who had joined our show “Rooydad” further said that previously we had to give away some of our privileges so the other side would lift some of the sanctions, but their demands have changed. “It’s not about the Nuclear Deal anymore; they want us, to give up more of our rights.”
Marandi believes that the negotiations have lost their importance for Iran because Tehran won’t bow to the new demands anymore. “otherwise, the US will conclude that they had been successful in getting more without fulfilling their obligations.”
He also said pointed out that the new US administration’s policy towards Iran hasn’t changed too. “The new Iranian government has also admitted this fact, so they’ll keep up the pressure on the other side of the table to put the Nuclear Deal into effect; it seems logical.”
Dr. Mohammad Marandi also said that the Iranian side must make the scene like the Nuclear Deal won’t be implemented from tomorrow. “We must show the West that we’re not interested in an endless waiting; otherwise, the pressure against Iran will increase.”
He added that Tehran must restore the national capabilities and find some new partners. “After the roadmap with China was signed off some elements tried to isolate Iran so the Americans can obtain more dominance on the issue.”
He further said that after the China deal was leaked on social media, it was revealed that there wasn’t anything important related to the issue. “If we had replaced the word China with Germany, the same people who were calling the deal a hegemonic one would have hailed and appraised it.”
Dr. Mohammad Marandi also said that the main agenda behind distorting the China deal was to isolate Iran. “Not to forget that the Chinese in Dubai are hundreds of times more than Iran.”
“A few years ago when Iran was hit hard by the flood the people movement of Iraq came to help us but the same culprits started commotion against the ones who had defeated the ISIS terrorists.”
