Radio Goftgoo's "Without Scrawl" program had a phone call interview with Keyvan Mirzaei, a political expert, about the strategic role of the Revolutionary Guards' confrontation with the US Navy in the Oman Sea.
Keyvan Mirzaei described the close confrontation between the Revolutionary Guards and the US Navy as a rare and unique event in the last century; “Over this confrontation, the hegemony and gesture of the US as a superpower was ridiculed by our militants, and the Americans were taught a great lesson.”
Regarding the dimensions of this incident, he said; “In all air, land and sea fields, when an American, ship or even a US military officer issues an order, other countries consider themselves obliged to carry it out and no one dares to oppose the orders of the Americans.”
In this phone call interview with Radio Goftogoo, the Iranian political expert stressed that while the whole world is afraid of the United States, Iran is practically fighting and confronting the Americans’ arrogance; “Not only Iran stood up to this confrontation, but it’ll also break the neck of the United States. And we’ll win this battle as well since the Americans are fleeing the battlefield.”
He also said that the US defeat against the Revolutionary Guards led them to flee forward and turn the reality upside down; “It is terribly hard for the Americans to believe this defeat because they imagined it to be a unipolar world for themselves.”
Mirzaei stated that the United States considers itself the owner of the world; “In this situation, Iran broke their pride, and therefore the confrontation of the Revolutionary Guards navy with the United States in the Oman Sea is a remarkable event.”
The Iranian political expert added; “It is unbelievable for Western countries that the IRGC has been able to defeat the United States in a face-to-face confrontation, and that is why they used all their media to undermine the grandeur of this event and put it under question.”
He emphasized that we should look at the West differently; “In the West, people do not pay much attention to political issues and believe whatever their media say.”
