In an interview with "Rouydad" program regarding the foreign media activities against Iran in a mosque in Germany, Abolfazl Zohrehvand stated; “I faced such scenes in Europe before and I don’t see such actions as behind-the-curtain moves.”
"Those who sit at the Europeans’ table and receive a monthly payment are not allowed to move without their permission," he added, “They do not make the slightest move without the European officials’ permission, so whatever happens, the German government should be held responsible.”
He continued; “Apparently, the Iranian Consulate General had cultural movements in the Hamburg mosque; while this is part of the routine, there are connections with Iranians other than consular issues.”
Zohrehvand stated that Iran's negotiation with the P4 + 1 is about to take place; “Regarding this issue alongside the Europeans positions and their role making to create passivity on the Iranian side, we see that the West is trying to gain concessions from Iran.”
The political expert referred to the joint statement of the European Troika against our country; “I think the Western authorities have divided the work among themselves, and the Germans have always been in line with these currents. They even tried to raise tensions related to lack of water in Iran and activate their elements.”
Such issues are defined in a package of pressure on Iran to indicate that Iran will be in a passive position at the negotiating table.”
Zohrehvand called the Monafeqin just a burnt card for the West and mentioned; “This opposition group has no popularity at all, not even among Iranians living in Europe and the United States, but sometimes the Western officials use them as a means for carrying out their plans.”
He also stressed that Iran should summon the German ambassador to Tehran and warn him; “Since the security of the diplomatic centers is directly related to the country, and on the other hand, the German people as well as the refugees are completely under the magnifying glass of the governments, the German government is to blame for what’s happened.”
Zohrehvand explained that the refugees do not have the slightest movement in the destination countries unless they are allowed to do so by the country's intelligence services; “The nuclear negotiating team should appear stronger and more determined than ever, and the West should know that such ugly moves cannot impose passivity on the Iranian side.”
At the same time, he emphasized that the West is very empty-handed today; “They cling to anything that is sinking, which shows how passive they are.”
“In this regard, we should confront the West through politics and in the media, and we should present ourselves as strong and rational at the negotiations so that the German government knows what kind of country it is facing.”
