According to Radio Goftogoo, in an interview with "Rouydad" program, Dr. Mohammad Javad Bahmanabadi, a university professor and researcher, responded to the question whether the Western authorities are seriously involved in Iran's negotiations and proposals; “Given the West's approach to the Vienna talks, various scenarios can be analyzed and predicted.”

He stated that some inductions and analyzes of foreign and domestic media are based on a wrong position; “The two documents proposed by Iran in the field of lifting sanctions and nuclear issues had ambiguities that were resolved in the first round of talks and explained to the other side.”

Bahmanabadi mentioned that the Westerners ambiguities about the generality of the two documents and the issues within them have been resolved; “Given the other side's understanding of Iran's proposed documents text, they called for dialogue between themselves and influential European and American decision-makers.”

The university professor then noted; “Iran's two proposed documents are presented from a completely correct position, and do not include one-sided and unrealistic expectations from Iran. If not, the Westerners themselves would have objected to it.”

He pointed out the importance of determination to implement these documents; “The negotiation process is forward and positive, but the important issue is the will to implement these documents, which if done can be a positive step towards the objective realization of these understandings and negotiations.”

**** There Are Attempts to Make People Pessimistic about the New Negotiating Team

Alireza Ale-Dawood, an Iranian media expert, had a phone call interview with "Rouydad" program regarding the Western media's attempts to divert talks and show divergence between Iran, Russia and China.

Ale-Dawood spoke about the war of narratives in today's world; “The Persian-language media belonging to the Saudis, who have been supporters of ISIS for years and carried out terrorist operations in different countries, those who had open hostilities with Iran and the Resistance Front in the region; it is natural that such groups aren’t happy with the clever and active approach of Iran's negotiations in the revolutionary government of Ayatollah Ra'isi.”

He continued; “The Iranian team participated in negotiations with numerous and completely transparent experts and demanded the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The European and American countries also realized that they could not disrupt Iran's rational demands and legitimate goals in the negotiation field, and so they began to mislead the media.”

The media expert also referred to the organized activities of the Western media regarding the negotiations and stated; “When the Western side realized that there were no more spies in the negotiating team, their media started mocking the Iranian negotiating team. And then they touched and distorted the provisions set by Iran.”

Ale-Dawood then commented on the distortion of the Russian official's statements by the Saudi media and the malicious behavior of the Western media; “The Russians responded quickly to this move and took a firm stand. Therefore, the Western authorities are willing to create a rift between China and Russia since Ayatollah Ra'isi's government is not leaning on the West. Rather, the main approach (of Iran’s new government) is to pay attention to the domestic power and those countries in the region and friendly to Iran.”

Mentioning that the cyberspace is an abandoned space in Iran, he said; “Opposing media in the war of narratives do their best to turn our public opinion against China and Russia, and make people pessimistic about the new negotiating team and the countries that support the rights of the Iranian people.”

The Iranian media expert explained that the enemy media put the weakening of the negotiating team on their agenda; “We have to seriously clarify this issue for our people and make accurate narratives, and not allow the enemy to use their media for their purpose which is only to produce fake news to influence our public opinion.”

Ale-Dawood added; “The Western media’ purpose is to create cognitive dipoles so that the Iranian public opinion may withdraw its support of the new round of negotiations and accept the Westerners’ extravagance.”
