The anti-resistance media in Iraq’s main goal includes Iranophobia, targeting the religious authority and mobilized forces, and that’s because the religious authority thwarts most of the sinister plans of the anti-resistance groups,”
According to Radio Goftgoo news site; Jalal Khaledi, a correspondent for Iraq’s Resistance, had a phone call interview with the "24:01" program about the cognitive sciences, regarding the study of anti-resistance media formation in Iraq; “Anti resistance media in Iraq are targeting the religious authority, saying that why the religious authority in Iraq should be non-Iraqi.”
He continued; “The anti-resistance media in Iraq are trying to scare people of the popular mobilized forces and to insinuate that although this popular group was able to defeat ISIL, it intends to replace itself through military forces. In this regard, they are trying to divide the popular mobilization into two groups, a group affiliated with the goals of Iraq and another which is not affiliated with Iraq and takes orders from Iran.”
Khaledi said the other target of the anti-resistance media is young people under the age of 18 who have no memory of Saddam's crimes and no knowledge of ISIS groups. They want to train these youth in a way that they want the future of Iraq.
* Anti-Resistance Media Attempts to Turn Iraq Back to its Arab Atmosphere.
“Another goal of the anti-resistance media in 2021 was their attempts to bring Iraq back to its Arab atmosphere," the resistance correspondent in Iraq continued. “They said why Iraq is not within the framework of the Arab goals of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain.”
“The axis of resistance has existed in Iraq since the 1920s, when the Iraqi people stood up to the British occupiers and, following the religious Marja’iah, they were able to drive the British occupiers out of Iraq,” he said.
Khaledi mentioned that the discussion of resistance and anti-resistance media in Iraq after the overthrow of Saddam in 2003 can be summarized in three stages; “The first stage was resistance against American terrorists from 2003 to 2011, the second stage was the resistance against ISIS terrorists from 2014 to 2017, and the third phase was post-ISIL resistance.”
“During these three stages, the Iraqis showed that with cooperation, unity and solidarity, they could defeat the American occupiers who were blocking their way, and expand their axis of resistance in such a way that the American troops to had to generally leave Iraq in 2011,” he added.
Khaledi emphasized; “Also in the war against ISIS, through creating unity and solidarity among Shiite Arabs, Sunni Arabs, Kurds and Christian minorities, the axis of resistance was able to nullify a serious plan of the American and Israeli Zionists, as well as the plan of some Arab countries and to dissolve ISIS. By following the religious authority and national unity of Iraq, they were able to defeat this sinister plan of the United States and the West called ISIL.”
He continued; “In the post-ISIS phase, many Arab countries and the United States tried to use internal sedition and create differences between Iraqis themselves, between Shiites and Shiites, between Sunnis and Sunnis, and between Kurds and Kurds. Again, the Iraqis were able to stand against the American and Israeli Zionists under such difficult conditions.”
"From 2003 to 2021, resistance-oriented media and resistance groups faced many challenges and a media war: since 2003, more than 120 media outlets have been equipped in Iraq," said the correspondent for the Iraqi Resistance. “The media, which was mostly funded by the United States and Britain, including satellite channels based in Britain and the UAE, networks that cooperate with terrorist groups even affiliated with the Munafeghin, and affiliated with Belgium, Albania, etc. We all saw how these media outlets joined hands to somehow overcome the will of the Iraqi people, but thank God, to this day they have almost failed.”
* Despite Being Newly Established, Resistance-Oriented Media Were Able to Stand against the Anti-Resistance groups.
“Although these challenges continue, and although many young Iraqis were martyred and problems were created for the Iraqi people as a result of such great challenges, we also have the axis of resistance and the media the resistance axis,” Khaledi said. “Despite being newly established, they have been able to stand strong against the Western and anti-resistance media and bring up themselves.”
Khaledi stated; “Despite the efforts by Western media and despite all their espionage in Iraq, the main bases of the resistance remain strong.”
He added; “Despite the fact that in 2019, Western and American supporters were excessively hopeful of the October 2019 demonstrations to be a barrier against the axis of resistance, but after the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes, we saw that the resistance media are still strong. Their power is to the extent that they were able to influence the Iraqi public opinion in such a way that millions of Iraqis come to the streets and attend the funeral of these two great martyrs. They conveyed the message to the West and some reactionary Arab countries that in spite of their overt and covert efforts, the axis of resistance is still popular in Iraq.”
