Head of the Sustainable Security Studies of Imam Hussein University Noted; “Martyr Soleimani defeated the terrorists by organizing the capacity of Islamic countries.”

Radio Goftgoo's "Political Dialogue" program interviewed Dr. Hassan Rastegarpanah, head of the Sustainable Security Studies at Imam Hossein University, on the subject of examining the role of Martyr Soleimani in ensuring security and the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hassan Rastegarpanah referred to the region’s current situation and said; “Without a doubt, the role of General Soleimani in stabilizing the position of the revolution, the progress of the Islamic Revolution and deterrent measures to ensure the security of the region is undeniable.”

He pointed out that the West and their allied powers faced a stalemate with Iran after the imposed war; “After the imposed war, the westerners were seeking the collapse of the revolution from within since they thought that after Imam Khomeini, the revolution will soon come to an end.”

The head of the Sustainable Security Studies at Imam Hussein University continued; “But the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution took the helm of the Islamic Revolution's great ship. With his wise and vigilant management, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution embodied the internal conditions of the country in order to thwart the enemy's conspiracy to collapse from within.”

He mentioned that the Western authorities have largely invested in religious extremism and the confrontation between anti-Shiite and anti-Islamic currents in the last two decades, and that these have been the West's tactics against Iran; “The enemy spent huge amounts of money on training extremist and takfiri thinking in Islamic countries.”

In this interview with Radio Goftogoo, Rastegarpanah referred to the spread of ISIS and terrorist forces in the region in the past few years and said; “In such circumstances, General Soleimani emerges as a force trained during the holy defense and at the school of the Islamic Revolution. With the wise plan of our Supreme Leader, Martyr Soleimani enters the scene in every respects.

He pointed out the actions of General Qassem Soleimani in confronting the Takfiri forces in the region and stated; “First and foremost, General Soleimani proceeded to organizing the capacities of the countries in the region. For example, Martyr Soleimani and Martyr Hamedani activated the capacity of the Syrian mobilized forces, while the Syrian rulers did not have such an idea by themselves.”

The head of the Sustainable Security Studies at Imam Hussein University added; “Despite all the conspiracies and investments made by the enemies, and in spite of fact that about 60% of the Syrian territory had fallen in the hands of terrorist forces, General Soleimani's actions released Syria of the Takfiri forces and created new fronts to oppose the Zionist conspiracies.
