Radio Goftogoo's "Political Dialogue" had a phone call interview with Dr. Hossein Haji, a university professor and the international affairs analyst, regarding the changes in regional and field equations as the result of Resistance Front's capabilities.
Hussein Haji stated that the history of international politics is at a turning point; “It has begun since two decades ago, after collapse of the Soviet Union and the claim of a unipolar world under the leadership of the United States, and with the rise of the Resistance Front.
He mentioned that the Resistance Front formation led to the destruction of the duality of compromise and resistance; “The compromise which existed under the leadership of some traitors in the region has given way to the Resistance Front, since it basically had no usage and failed to resolve the crises in West Asia.”
The Iranian Lecturer stressed that the current of resistance is a very sublime and peace-seeking ideal; “This current led to the formation of a transformative twist of history in the world of politics and changed lots of concepts defined under the power of politics. The United States, meanwhile, faced a major challenge in defining its policy of power.
He also emphasized that the world of political thought is undergoing some essential changes in favor of the revival of legal and international traditions, values and peace; “The US hegemonic decline, and decline of Israel as its infantry, is quite visible.”
In this interview with Radio Goftogoo, Haji spoke of the reasons and factors for the decline of the US power; “One of the reasons for the decline of the United States is the failure of the compromise project, which was replaced by the discourse of Resistance in the region; especially since the Resistance front gradually changed its defensive strategies and became an invasive force. As these components came together, they inevitably resulted in a strategic bottleneck for the United States.”
The international affairs analyst then pointed to the challenging policy of the US and the Zionist regime in the region and the international system and said; “The policy of power in the US is defined negatively, because it is based on distance from justice, international law, security and ethics, it’s based on discrimination. Under the Charter of the United Nation, these values are the rules which should be accepted by all the countries. But the United States, as a powerhouse of liberalism, does not abide by this charter.”
He continued; “The US policy isn’t based on the principle of non-discrimination, and wherever there was discrimination and racism in the world, the United States promoted it. This policy has led to the formation of Resistance in the region and even in the world, which resulted in the decline of the US hegemony.
