Radio Goftogoo's "Political Dialogue" program interviewed Mohammad Javani, a media expert, to examine the cause and manner of the enemy's media and political war in the Vienna talks.
Pointing out the line taken by the Westerners against Iran in the global media, Mohammad Javani explained; “In their media, they repeatedly tried to indicate that the Islamic Republic of Iran intends to buy time through negotiations to be able to complete its nuclear progress, because Iran Intends to acquire a nuclear weapon.”
He referred to the Western media effort for promoting Iranophobia all over the world and said; “The West new psychological attack on the new negotiating team is the induction of this belief that the new negotiating team is unfamiliar with the language of the world and thus they can’t reach an agreement with this team. These attacks were considerably less on the former government's nuclear negotiating team because the previous negotiating team tended to compromise with the West.”
In this interview with Radio Goftogo, the media expert mentioned that the agreement that Iran is considering is different from the agreement that the West is intending to make; “Iran has fulfilled all its obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and this time, Iran have to act as the creditor, but With the media power and the octopus-like dominance of the Zionist media over the world, Westerners are trying to insinuate that Iran is not committed to its obligations.”
He stressed that Iran fulfilled all its obligations under the JCPOA; “The Iranian nation is the best judge and adjudicator, and everyone could witnessed that Iran was fully committed to the JCPOA provisions, and fulfilled even more than that, but the United States had unilaterally and oppressively stepped out of the JCPOA. The Europeans also promised that with the withdrawal of the United States, they would abide by their commitments, but they didn’t abide even by the minimums which they promised.”
“The Western media intend to make Iran's economy conditional, and they do so by tying the economy to negotiations,” Javani said of the media's heavy effort to blame it on Iran. “The President promised that we would not tie the economy to negotiations, but in practice we see this scenario being repeated by the opposition media. In fact, by giving positive pulses, they are trying to draw the attention of Iranian market to the negotiations, and thus make the country's economy increasingly impressed by the negotiations.”
The media expert pointed to the realization of the Western goals in the nuclear field after the signing of the JCPOA and said; “Their goal is Iran's missile and regional issues and they are likely to give concessions to Iran to reduce the price of the dollar, and then after a while, we are to witness the sabotaging role of the West again so that Iran's economy can be linked to negotiations once more.”
