In our latest episode of the “Rooydad” show, Political analyst Seyed Ahmad Fateminejad explained the latest situation in Vienna and said that the negotiations are taking place in a new environment and the most important issue is the sanctions against Iran and its termination.

Fateminejad said that the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister has also stated that Moscow is against any deadline. “The Britons were insisting that the Negotiations must come to an end in a week or two; Russians responded that there isn’t any justification for a deadline, while the negotiations must continue on the correct path.”

He added that in the field of diplomacy, the negotiations take place on a technical and legal basis. The negotiation teams debate on the plans and reciprocity until a clear deal is reached.

“Occasionally, some external factors influence the talks which can be seen in Vienna; Both sides try to bring the other one under pressure.”

Fateminejad further said that we were also threatened militarily by the Israelis. It was answered by Iran holding vast military drills which diffused the threats.

“We were also threatened with economic measures and sanctions as well. France and UK are also working on a joint threat which must be addressed by Iran immediately.”

He emphasized that the Russian Deputy Minister has rejected the deadline as well. “We should not pay attention to these deadlines as well and stick to the guidelines and logics of the negotiations. Iran is also equipped with some external tools for the necessary response to the West.”

Fateminejad also said that Iran has equally reciprocated to every move of the Western side of the deal; “They threatened us militarily which failed. During the recent months, the inflation has decreased in Iran amid intensified sanctions; meanwhile, Iran has increased its oil exports and the Government has also underlined these achievements in direct response to the western side of the deal.”

He further told our host that Iran is firm on reclaiming its due rights. “Until then, it won’t pay any attention to these deadlines.”
