A commentator of international politics has said that Western Media has taken a ridiculous stance on the 25 years Iran-China Deal.
In this episode of “Rooydad” show, political analyst Masoud Barati explained the advantages that Iran will achieve through this deal saying that the Chinese have the upper hand in the global economy and vast capacities. “Bilateral cooperation will fulfill many economic requirements of Iran as well.” He said.
“On the other side, China needs Iran’s geopolitical position and Energy resources, while Iran is among those few countries which own Energy reserves and politically are not under the western influence which will pave the way for a pleasant relationship with the Chinese.” He added.
Barati emphasized that a powerful approach and analysis on the domestic front in Iran will lead to a better chance of taking advantage of the opportunities.
“Besides many other American statesmen, Biden had also raised concerns regarding this deal from his initial days in office.”
He further added that during the past few months Iran has turned towards its neighbor countries as well as diffused the effects of the sanctions imposed on Tehran. He called this 25-years deal a step towards increasing the welfare of the Iranian nation as well as upgrading their economic condition. “Under these circumstances, our country’s rigidity will increase in the face of US sanctions; Thus, the US’s current response is per their intention of weakening this cooperation.”
He also pointed out the violent propaganda of the Western media outlets and social media platforms against China and Russia and said that their attack against this deal is irrelevant and unrealistic, which they’ve consistently continued for the past year. “They’re targeting this deal by creating delusions and obstacles.”
According to Barati, the US is behaving the same with all the countries who want to cooperate with Iran and China. He emphasized that it's because of Tehran and Beijing’s stance against the US.
“On the other hand, 8 years of false optimism towards the West has forced us to take some corrective historical steps; meanwhile, self-reliance and professionalism must remain as a central goal of the country.
