An expert of international affairs says that the Americans are eager to return to the deal but it’s only possible when Tehran is satisfied.
In this episode, “Rooydad” show of Radio Goftogoo discussed the latest steps made by the participants of the Vienna talks with a commentator of International politics, Hadi Servati.
Hadi Servati said that if the other side of the negotiations doesn’t breach the agreement again, the diplomatic marathon will come to an end very soon. “Now, we’ve reached a point where all the sides must make a rational and firm decision to have a positive outcome.”
He added that the Americans had left the deal and now they’re forced to fulfill the demands of Iran for a possible return to this plan of action. “Iran has made some clear demands with the verification and guarantee process being at the top.”
Servati referred to the statements made by the US saying that the Americans are trying to blame the ex-US president for all the mess; meanwhile showing some positive signals and providing limited concessions to Iran.
Commenting on the news brought forward by the European Media regarding the last stage of the Vienna talks, Servati said that analyzing the information and statements of the negotiating teams, it seems that the talks are moving forward towards a deal. “I believe that the process will be lengthier than the assumptions made by the media outlets; in my opinion, a tacit agreement will be reached. Meanwhile, the Americans must make a serious decision.”
