Radio Goftogoo's "Political Dialogue" aired an interview with Dr. Hossein Ghazizadeh, the Iranian human rights researcher, talking about the American dream of a unipolar world and signs of its destruction.

Hossein Ghazizadeh spoke around how the American Dream affected human rights; “When the international community failed to prevent the World War II, the Americans tried to present themselves as a savior, taken the fact that they were geographically far from war zones. Basically, one of the aspects of the American dream was based on the American continent’s distance from such conflicts, and accordingly, they introduced themselves as one of the founders of the United Nations.”

He stressed that the term "American human rights" is particularly significant; “In their speeches, Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution used this term several times, because if we look at the human rights documents, from the beginning of the United Nations establishment until today, we find that in all these documents, there was an attempt to promote the American Dream and the American way of life in different languages and forms. In fact, regarding age, gender, religion, sect, and culture of each community and individual, the procedure of promoting the American Dream may vary, but the idea and direction behind it is the same.

The human rights researcher also noted that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was written by American officials; “It was written by those people who firmly believed in American hegemony, and in fact American human rights are the foundations for the American dream.”

“All the pieces of human rights’ puzzle, which is designed and managed by Americans, synergize each other effects, and all lead to the conclusion that the American idea and dream is superior to all the thoughts and ideologies in the world,” added Ghazizadeh.

He then stated that international documents should be influential rather than being influenced by other factors; “One of the paradigms behind the Islamic Republic of Iran and the notion of Resistance is to influence world documents, but so far we couldn’t achieve much success in this field.”

The human rights researcher pointed to Trump’s time as an example for the failure of the American Dream; “In this period and by ignoring and mocking international conventions, as well as putting sanctions, the US government revealed that the American Dream was actually founded on an imaginary ground and a fictitious root.”
