Shabibi stated that the purpose for expelling Palestinians from their homeland is to Judaize different areas in Palestine; “Putting lots of restrictions on prayers was another Zionist attempt to suppress Palestinian Muslims.”
Radio Goftogoo's "Political Dialogue" program launched an interview with Abdul Rasul Shabibi, the Iranian West Asia expert, where he argued on Palestinian Resistance and the current missile-to-missile strategy.”
Abdul Rasool Shabibi explained the roots of the recent clashes between the Palestinians and the Zionist regime; “Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Zionist regime has been planning to evict the residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem from their homes. Of course, this is not the first time such actions have been taken, and this was a trend over previous years due to the occupying nature of the Zionist regime.”
He mentioned that the purpose behind such deportations and evictions of Palestinians from their homes is to Judaize different areas in Palestine; “Making restrictions for the Muslims worshipers on their first qibla in the Abrahamic sanctuary, was one more of Zionists actions to suppress and restrict Palestinian Muslims. These actions provoked the reaction of Resistance forces, not only in East Jerusalem but also in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian militants warned the Zionist regime that in case of continuing such measures, it will face severe reactions by the Resistance.”
The expert on West Asia affairs added; “Regarding Israel’s behavior against residents of Sheikh Jarrah area, and suppressing Muslim worshipers on Jerusalem, the Palestinian Resistance realized its warnings, and their rockets hit those areas near the Gaza Strip first, and then more distant targets including Tel Aviv, and this had completely changed the equations.”
He spoke of the Zionist regime's savagery and its anti-human behavior and noted; “Considering the Resistance defense against the Zionist regime, it seems that unless the Zionist regime's actions are met with reactions from international and human right organizations, Israel's brutal behavior will increase. Regretfully, the number of civilian martyrs and wounded is increasing in Palestine. Unfortunately, international organizations and some governments confirmed the Zionist regime crimes with their silence.”
Shabibi then spoke of the Zionists' strategic mistakes and said; “Given the conditions in the region and the cooperation of some Arab countries with them, the Zionists thought that they could put even more pressure on the Palestinians and expand the ghetto areas. But the current situation shows that they were wrong and made lots of calculated mistakes.”
