In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, an Iranian regional affairs analyst described the Palestinian recent success as the greatest resistance and victory against the Israelis after the 33-day war in Lebanon.
Hassan Hanizadeh stated that the recent ceasefire was unconditional, and the Zionist regime couldn’t impose any conditions on the Palestinians for this; “10 days ago, a breathtaking clash took place between Islamic Resistance and the Zionist regime, and this clash broke the rules in occupied Palestine.
Regarding the missiles displayed by the Palestinian Resistance over the past 10 days, he said; “These missiles have a range of 280 km and, due to the small size of the occupied territories, which is only 22,000 square kilometers, the rockets covered [the whole region].”
* Palestine broke the rules
Hanizadeh then spoke of changing the strategic rules in the fight against the Zionists in the occupied territories; “The Zionist regime was forced to accept a ceasefire after 11 days, and this is a great victory.”
“According to political experts, accepting defeat is a countdown to the collapse of the Zionist regime and the Likud party,” he added.
Hanizadeh noted that the Israeli prime minister started the recent war so that he could remain in power; “Netanyahu accelerated his political death and will soon step down from power.”
He described the Palestinians recent victory as the greatest resistance and success against the Israelis after the 33-day war in Lebanon, adding; “Two components and indicators were seen in Gaza’s recent events, the first was the silence of international organizations, including the Security Council, which previously failed four times.”
Hanizadeh noted; “On the one hand, a statement was supposed to be issued, but the United States prevented its formation at the Security Council meeting.”
* Global Condemning of Israel’s Crimes
In his interview with Radio Goftogoo, the West Asia analyst cited; “The Organization for Islamic Cooperation issued some statements of little account, but the widespread presence of people from around the world, even in the United States, in condemning the Zionist regime's crimes was evident.”
Hanizadeh continued; “Despite having government support and international emancipation for its people, the Zionist regime lacks position and dignity while the Palestinian people enjoy a high popular position in the world.”
“Palestinians living in the 1948 territories in different cities of occupied Palestine clashed with the Zionists and joined the Intifada, and this shows that there is no longer a safe haven for the Zionist regime in the occupied territories,” mentioned Hanizadeh.
