Political analyst Roohollah Pourtaleb says whenever the US is under the control of a Democrat government, terrorist groups also become active; it seems there is a coordination between these two groups.
During our latest episode of “Bedoune Khatkhordegi” we discussed the latest terror attack hitting the Al-Sadr district of the Iraqi capital Baghdad which resulted in 35 deaths and 160 injuries. 12 of the slain were children.
Joining our show through a telephone call expert of West Asian affairs Roohollah Pourtaleb said that the intelligence circles of Iraq had earlier warned about possible Daesh activities. “This particular area has been targeted twice. During March, a terrorist blew himself up in the area killing 12 people and such an attack was repeated 3 weeks back and as a result, 15 were injured.”
He further said that after lengthy military operations and with the support of Iran, Iraq brought the story of the ISIS invasion to an end. “For a long time, we didn’t hear about them and their activities. But unfortunately, they’re revived and we know that it has happened because of the US.”
He reiterated that there is a connection between Daesh terrorists and the Democrats in charge of the Whitehouse.
“During the Obama period, Daesh was cultivated in the West Asian region especially inside the Iraqi and the Syrian territories. The Republicans didn’t support these terrorists as they were supported during times of the Democrats. After Biden came to power, Daesh has started its activities again.”
Pourtaleb added that whenever the Democrats are in charge of the White House, these terror groups who are the real enemies of Islam, resume their fieldwork. “Their activities are correlated.”
