In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, an Iranian expert on West Asia affairs described last night's remarks by Seyed Hassan Nasrallah as a shocking response to the Zionist regime's recent struggles and militancy, and assessed them as explaining Hezbollah's position in national security.
Reza Sadr al-Husseini, an expert on West Asia affairs, had a phone call interview with "Rouydad" program about Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and his last night speech.
Sadr al-Husseini stated; “Considering the moral and Islamic characteristics of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, he usually doesn’t express the national security issues very clearly. But senior Lebanese officials have repeatedly stated that Hezbollah is one of the most important pillars of Lebanese national security in the current context.”
“Regarding the Zionist regime recent threats and its audacity to Lebanon on Friday, as well as the psychological condition of the Lebanese people who are facing various economic, political and psychological pressures of the media, all made Seyed Hassan Nasrallah to speak clearer and Analyze Hezbollah's position in Lebanese national security,” he added.
The West Asia expert explained that Seyed Hassan Nasrallah's remarks clarified the position of Hezbollah in Lebanon; “Several media outlets reacted differently to Seyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech, but all of them stressed that Hezbollah was fully prepared to protect the security and national interests of the people.”
Sadr al-Husseini mentioned that the existence of the Zionist regime has been associated with bringing insecurity to its environment outside the occupied territories; “Based on the same theory of bringing insecurity to the region, Israel seeks to maintain the internal security of the Zionist regime.”
He stressed; “All these cases and theories are managed by the international Zionism, which is based in the United States, and therefore what Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said about Lebanon's security issues indicates the unity of the Resistance.”
The West Asia expert noted that there was no division between Yemen's Ansar al-Islam, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Hamas and the Islamic Movement; “High-ranking commanders and officials of the Resistance Front sat together at the presidential inauguration of Mr. Ra'isi in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and the photo taken there indicates the same thing.”
He then cited that in his speech last night, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah pointed to the unity and solidarity of the Resistance; “Last night, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah pointed that if this rabid dog of the United States goes too far in Lebanon, his own security will be taken in Tel Aviv.”
Regarding the future of the West Asia region in the short term, Sadr al-Husseini said; “We should not underestimate our enemy since one of the serious harms in the field of international security is underestimating the enemy.”
He emphasized; “Although the Resistance Front is fully prepared under the leadership of the Islamic Republic, but the enemy has done a lot and in the field of soft war, Iranophobia and malware, lots of measures are being taken and we have to be fully prepared in this field.”
