Expert of West Asian affairs says that all of Iraqi political parties want the Americans to retreat from this country.
Seyed Reza Sadrolhosseini referred to the discussion between AlKazemi and Biden and an evacuation timeframe for the US forces saying that it’s a fact that at that time, the Americans were not interested in leaving Iraq.
“Iraq is rich in natural resources and has a geopolitical importance in the Islamic and Arab world so the Americans were making excuses not to leave this country.”
Sadrolhosseini called the reinforcement of Daesh as one of the excuses made by the US and said that the ISIS terrorists are organized to spread insecurity so the Americans can call the possible instability a result of their exit.
“We should not forget that after more than a decade’s presence in this country, the Americans have developed a network of NGOs and sympathizers among the media circles and liberals.”
Seyed Reza Sadrolhosseini reinstated that the terror activities of Daesh is assisted by the Americans and a small group of Iraqis complete the American jigsaw by asking their intervention.
“Today’s Daesh is an upgraded version of the previous excuses which is needed for interference. On the other hand if we take a glimpse of the published media and think-tanks, we will come to a conclusion regarding the US’s current situation; especially if we consider the current administration has held the office for less than six months.”
He pointed out the voices asking Biden to resign saying the American President is under pressure by the Republicans as well as the Democrats.
“Their exit from Afghanistan was a bi-partisan decision; both of them had a different approach towards the issue, but now the Americans have ignited a new crisis with their allies and also some Arab monarchs.”
The US is hiding the fact that their retreat from multiple countries is a series of defeat. “The Americans don’t want to leave Iraq so they’re making different excuses which also assures their support for the allies.
