In an interview with "Rouydad" live program, Seyyed Hadi Seyyed Afghahi referred to the heroic escape of six Palestinian prisoners from the Zionist regime's high-security prison; “It was an exceedingly heroic atmosphere and new blood flowed in the veins of the Islamic Resistance.”

He added; “These heroes escaped of a modern and sophisticated prison with the least of equipment and in spite all the facilities of surveillance and CCTV cameras of the prison where they were held. They dug a tunnel with a rusted spoon. They have been digging this tunnel for 6 months.

Seyyed Afghahi stressed that it was indeed surprising, and it was not clear where these prisoners had taken the sand and soil while they were digging the tunnel. Any way this event was a humility for the security structure of the Zionist regime.

He stated that the mentioned prison is by no means an ordinary prison, and in terms of the Zionist regime's classification, those who have been sentenced to life imprisonment two or three times are kept in this prison; “The high accuracy and importance of this prison indicates the significance of the measure taken by those six Palestinian fugitives.”

Seyyed Afqahi continued; “This event led to a celebration and a spiritual victory for the Islamic Jihad movement, since 5 of these fugitives were members of the Islamic Jihad Organization and the other was a member of the military branch of the Fatah Brigade.”

He stated; “After a while, unfortunately, 4 of these prisoners were re-arrested, which is a tragic and sad story. They had gone to a house to get food and water, but unfortunately they were exposed.”

Seyyed Afqahi continued; “Of course, it is also important for the organization why these people were exposed despite having made such a huge move and why there was no one to shelter them! In particular, it should be determined who exposed them.”

“Given the accurate information we have, unfortunately, the infiltrating elements and spies of the Zionist regime live among the Palestinians, and these spies have exposed the Palestinian fugitives," he mentioned on Radio Goftogoo.

Seyyed Afghahi reminded; “In the meantime, the Islamic Jihad Organization warned the Zionist regime about the re-arrested prisoners. Firing rockets and the current tense atmosphere stems from the same issue.

He added; “To compensate for their defeat, the Zionist regime attributed a false scenario to those fugitives and claimed that they were to have a terrorist attack after fleeing. This is while they didn’t have even a loaf of bread to satisfy their hunger.”

Seyyed Afghahi continued; “The Islamic Jihad Organization emphasized that if these prisoners are harmed, they will also take action, but apparently under torture, they were forced to confess and they are not in a good condition.”
