In his interview with Radio Goftogoo, an Iranian analyst on West Asia affairs emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is extremely sensitive to fratricide, especially in Afghanistan, and that we should resolve the issue in our negotiations with the Taliban.

Seyyed Hadi Seyyed Afghahi primarily spoke of the incitements against Afghan Shiites in “Rouydad” program and stated; “The second explosion took place in the capital, Kandahar, and it is questionable. Why should it happen despite the Taliban's promises to pursue the first explosion case?”

He questioned whether the new incident was a mockery of the Taliban and the group's power, and said it was at the cost of shedding the Shiite’s blood.

“On the other hand, the United States may incite Iran to enter a war for defending the Shiites and somehow fall into the trap of the United States and ISIS!” he said.

According to Seyyed Afghahi, the United States created ISIS and sent the leadership of this terrorist group from one part of the world to another; but this does not absolve the Taliban. Because they should either secure the Shiite residential or let the Shiites defend themselves.

He noted the need to set up checkpoints; “It’s so sad that ISIS enters mosques and easily kills a number of Shiites, and the Taliban ends the issue with a simple statement.”
In this interview with Radio Goftogo, Seyyed Afghahi stated; “The death of 63 oppressed Shiites in Kandahar isn’t a small loss; and this murder took place in the Taliban’s capital.”

“The recent events in Afghanistan are not separate from the US plan to form a fire belt and conflict in the region. In Lebanon, the American-Zionist forces attacked the Lebanese people, in Iraq, the elections crisis has not yet subsided, and in Yemen, the situation is different,” he added.

The political analyst believes that the United States intends to change the chain and the crisis in favor of the Zionist regime, and the possibility of a re-clash of jihadist forces with the Zionist regime is expected.

"The hunger strike of Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners is also ahead, and the United States is seeking to re-ignite the region," he said.

He continued; “Therefore, we should raise the issues carefully, rationally and wisely through consultation with the Taliban in order to set a plan to save the lives of the Afghan people, especially the Shiites; because these people trusted the words of the Taliban.”
