In a live broadcast of "Rouydad" program, Mustafa Moslehzadeh pointed to a day of public mourning in Lebanon announced by the Lebanese Prime Minister, and said; “Making a historical comparison between the current project and previous plans against the Resistance movement, we find that over the 1975 war, in which Christians stood on one side against Palestinian Arabs, the Christians were supported by the United States, Israel, and some other countries.”

“This was while the Palestinians had no backing of any kind, and Egypt had just fallen, and the Palestinians had no mass support and stood alone,” he added.

He continued; “The civil war left Lebanon in a very bad situation, and today a new project has started and the West think that it can change the situation in Lebanon once again through another civil war, but the situation today is very different.”

“Today, not all Christians have lined up against Hezbollah, and there is only one Christian group supported by Israel, the United States and Europe, but it does not include all Christians.”

In this short interview with Radio Goftgoo, Moslehzadeh noted; “The enemy's actions against Hezbollah cannot be accurately explained in this limited time.”
Moslehzadeh then stated; “They thought that Hezbollah today is the same as the former Palestinian guerrilla group and that they could overthrow it with a project like that in 1975, but this is a very stupid and ignorant idea.”

The Iranian veteran diplomat added; “On this side of the battle, there is a process that, according to predictions, will surely win. Unlike in 1975 that the Palestine couldn’t gain victory against the United States, Israel and their allies.”
