Theoretic Secretary of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity; “The 35th International Conference on Unity Began Focusing on Peace and Avoiding Division.”
“The 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity has started its work on the subject of peace and avoiding divisions and conflicts in the Islamic world,” noted Hojjatoleslam Rashedinia on Radio Goftgoo.
Hojjatoleslam Dr. Akbar Rashedinia, the theoretic Secretary of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity, had a phone call interview regarding the International Conference on Unity.
Hojjatoleslam Rashedinia stated; “The 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity has started its work with focusing on peace and avoiding divisions and conflicts in the Islamic world.”
He continued; “Activities were started and in this regard, and articles were sent to this conference from the Islamic countries. Religious, political, cultural, and civilizational thinkers will attend the conference, and the written output of the conference is 80 papers submitted, and 40 approved papers that will be unveiled and published at the closing ceremony.”
The Theoretic Secretary of the 35th International Conference on Islamic Unity then mentioned; “Guests are attending the opening ceremony from all over the world, and this ceremony will be inaugurated with the presence of our country’s President.”
Hojjatoleslam Rashedinia pointed out the conference topic which is "peace and abstinence"; “Besides these topics, the issue of Palestine and the Islamic Resistance, the need for the Islamic community to react to the normalization of relations with Israel, as well as the honoring of Ayatollah Taskhiri are considered among the conference sub-topics.”
Regarding published articles which are considered the conference results, he said; “One of these articles is a collection of Ayatollah Takhiri works; He had the idea of unity and approximation and had several works in the field of education and Islamic sciences with a unity outlook. These works were scattered in different parts of the world and were collected and published in a 12-volume collection and will be unveiled at the opening.”
At the end Hojjatoleslam Rashedinia said; “Socially, we are expected to reach a common discourse with the presence of thinkers and the conversations that take place, and to respect each other and avoid divisions.”
