In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, while commemorating “Fighting against Global Arrogance Week”, the head of the International Core of Shahid Beheshti University stressed that the US crimes should be heard by the United Nations, and this should be done in the form of statements and legal gatherings.

In an interview with "Rouydad" program, Mohammad Javad Karimi said; “Following the capture of the US Embassy in Iran, student organizations found a new identity and pursued this issue from a legal and political perspective.”

He pointed to the colonization, conspiracy and influence of Global Arrogance in our country and stressed that we have to pursue this issue through the United Nations.

Karimi stated that the United States committed terrible crimes which should be pursued by organizations following Imam Khomeini's line; “This pursuit can be carried out through statements, various gatherings, and the formation of a panel of law students.”

“And Israel detains and martyrs children every year, but the United Nations is silent on this,” he mentioned in his brief interview on Radio Goftgoo. “Therefore, by forming legal boards and coalitions along with elite gatherings, we should accordingly form statements and gatherings.”

According to Karimi, “Arrogance” is a fundamental issue which should be heard by the United Nations.

**** The US Doesn’t Want to Return to the JCPOA

Following this interview on Radio Goftogoo, and in another part that was focused on "the US new sanctions", Fouad Izadi provided some explanations.

The Tehran University professor cited that the US new sanctions indicate that American authorities seeks more concessions and stressed that the Americans have never intended to return to the previous tact, namely the JCPOA.
Regarding the US new sanctions against our country, Izadi referred to Americans’ claim that Iran is seeking to build a nuclear weapon; “Yesterday, the US imposed sanctions on a number of companies operating in the field of UAVs.”

“Nowhere in the world are drones considered as weapons of mass destruction, and even the military use of this case is used to monitor the borders and confront the villains.”

“Nowadays, these sanctions are a great lesson for us that the United States is interested in managing our country regarding the JCPOA on the one hand, and on the other hand, they are after gaining new concessions beyond the nuclear field.”

Izadi continued; “Meanwhile, the United States imposed sanctions on several companies active in the field of UAVs, which shows that the Americans are basically against Iran's progress altogether.”

He stated; “The Americans are against any conventional military progress in our country, thus our Supreme Leader’s remarks came true as he remarked that the expectations of the United States will never stop.”

Izadi continued; “Yesterday's action of the US Secretary of State is a great lesson. These sanctions left no question especially for those who don’t really understand the nature of the United States.”

“Over the six rounds of the Vienna talks, the problem was that the United States wanted concessions beyond the nuclear issue,” the political analyst said in another part of the interview, referring to the timing of the sanctions and the US insistence on returning to the JCPOA.

“The United States wanted to include a sentence in the tact that let the Americans enter into Iran's regional and foreign policy, and it has said a lot in this regard,” he added.

“For instance, Wendy Sherman stated that in 2015 we had concerns about Iran's nuclear capabilities, which were resolved under the JCPOA, and today in 2021 we are after more concessions.”

Izadi then said; “The US seeks a longer and stronger agreement and intends to gain concessions beyond the nuclear field. Therefore, it will not return to the JCPOA, rather wants new privileges.”
