Radio Goftogoo "Without Sceawl" program had a phone call interview with the Iranian international affairs expert, Dr. Seyed Reza Sadr al-Hosseini regarding the seven years of Al Saud's crimes in Yemen.
Seyed Reza Sadr al-Hosseini stressed that we are examining the prospects for the future in the light of past trends; “Over the war waged against Yemeni people, the Saudis were to defeat the Yemeni resistance and people within two weeks, and Yemen was supposed to be colonized once again by the Saudis.
He described the Yemeni people's resistance against the aggressors as "causing the Yemeni people to retake lots of their territories which was previously taken by Saudi and American mercenaries. Today, accessing the condition, we find that both on the ground and in air defense and drones, Yemen has been able to carry out deterrence and balancing operations against Saudi Arabia. This is while Saudi Arabia receives billions of dollars a year in military weapons from the United States and the West.
“This operation, which is being carried out under the name of Rabi'a, indicates great ability of Ansarullah and Yemen National Army on the ground," the international affairs expert told Radio Goftogoo. “Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, with the help of the UAE and led by the US military, had recruited large numbers of mercenaries from poor countries in order to stand up to the will of the Yemeni people.”
He announced that an extensive rally was held in Yemen’s capital on Monday against the United States and the Zionist regime; “In this immense gathering, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, as one of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council’s officials, devoted the main part of his remarks to speaking about the Zionist regime and the Americans.”
Sadr al-Hosseini added; “This indicates that the Yemeni fighters see the Americans along the Saudis as their opponents. They realized that the weapons Americans were providing to Saudi Arabia were being used against the Yemeni people. In fact there was real enemy-logy in Yemen. On the other hand, it can be concluded that the Yemeni fighters, while fighting for the independence of their homeland, are not unaware of the first issue of the Islamic world, namely Palestine, and this shows the strength of the resistance against the domination system.”
