Noted an Iranian Expert of International Law “The US Authorities Aren’t Seeking an Agreement, but a Change in Iran’s Structure,” .

Radio Goftogoo's "Political Dialogue" had an interview with Mehdi Rahmani, an expert in international law and a faculty member at Kharazmi University, regarding the United States' dual behavior in returning to Burjam.

Mehdi Rahmani spoke of the arrogant nature of the United States; “During the past few decades and after World War II, the American officials have been pursuing their material interests through capitalism. It doesn’t matter where in the world are these interests located, and in fact, the United States pursues its goals regardless of human societies.”

He stressed that the US has a long history of breaking its commitments; “when an agreement is made between two wills, the goal is for the benefit of both parties, but the arrogant nature of the United States leads them to walk out of those obligations that result in the other party’s benefit. In fact, since the US authorities falsely believe themselves to be a superpower, they simply disregard their own obligations under a treaty.”

The international law expert stated that the Great Devil violates even the basic rights of American society; “The United States, as a great violator, doesn’t respect the rights of black and colored people, and lots of those with low income.”

He mentioned that the major governments of the world, including European countries, are under the control of the Zionist lobby; “The rulers of European countries act exactly according to the words and principles of the Zionists. European countries came under American control after World War II, and for this reason the Europeans were forced to move under Americans instructions.”

In this interview with Radio Goftogoo, Rahmani stressed that the in the nuclear talks, Europeans don’t possess a specific opinion of their own; “Iran signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015, for the better or for the worse, and the former government had accordingly fulfilled all its nuclear obligations. It fully destroyed all our nuclear industries which to a large extent, led to the lay off of our nuclear scientists.”

Kharazmi University faculty member continued; "However, the United States did not fulfill its obligations, besides, they ridiculed it and withdrew from the JCPOA. The Americans violated all the material and spiritual guarantees they owed to Iran, and this is due to the arrogant nature of the United States.”

He then spoke about the thirteenth government and said; “The thirteenth government arose from the people. The American officials believed that President Ra’isi will oust the JCPOA when he took office. But with intelligence and ingenuity, the thirteenth government declared itself subject to negotiations according to the JCPOA. Of course, Iran calls for legal conditions for the negotiatons, and in the first step, the consequences of the US withdrawal from the JCPOA have to be determined.

Rahmani then pointed to the dual policy of the United States and said; “The Americans seek to change the behavior of the Islamic Republic of Iran and change the structure of our country, and in fact, the US negotiations are ultimately conducted in this direction.
