An economist has said that the member countries of The Shanghai conference have 42 percent of the total population of our globe; thus, is considered as a powerful bloc.
In an interview with “Bedoone Khatkhordegi” Show Mohammad Aqaqavam pointed out the hidden capabilities of Iran’s membership in Shanghai Organization and the positive outcome of joining this club saying: “We must analyze our hidden capacities to find our position, influence and importance in this group.”
He further recalled the reason behind formation of this organization saying that it was created to counter novel security challenges. “Policies, Security matters, Economics and Finance are the different layers of a single prism which move forward simultaneously towards a common goal; therefore, many more dimensions were added to this organization which was created for tackling the security challenges at the first place.”
Aqaqavam pointed out the capabilities of the member states of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the field of economics and said the member countries have 42 percent of the global population while 28 percent of the total GDP of the world is generated in these countries; thus, this organization can be called a powerful bloc.
“Shanghai Cooperation Organization can expedite the demise of the unipolar world; US is practically losing its influence as well as its position as a super power, while the developments are sliding towards a world with mutual interests.”
Aqaqavam called the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as one of the most important poles of the new world order saying: “In this larger pole, US’s traditional competitors, Russia and China will challenge the Americans in the race towards a multipolar world; “China, has already emerged as a serious competitor.”
He also said that Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an enormous political, security and financial club saying that Iran who has challenged the unipolar world lead by the US, would expedite the movement towards a multipolar world by joining this bloc.
