The Iranian Health Ministry has confirmed 10,250 COVID-19 infections and 91 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Sima Lari made the announcement on Tuesday, saying that the number of total coronavirus cases in the country has so far reached 1,875,234 with the death toll standing at 62,569.
According to Lari, 3,953 patients are in critical condition while 1,608,807 patients have recovered.
So far more than 12.75 million tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases, she added.
