Covid-19 Pandemic Will Be Stopped in 6 Months ...

In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, one of the Barakat vaccine producers announced that in case of universal vaccination, we can expect the end of Corona pandemic in six months.

In an interview with Radio Goftogoo, Asghar Abdoli, the Iranian technologist and one of Barakat vaccine producers, mentioned that this vaccine has now become public; "Our production is one million doses a week, and two more production lines will be added soon, and thus our production capacity will be multiplied."

He Addressed people and said; "We know that you are tired of wearing masks and following the protocols, but I think if we seriously proceed with the vaccination for 6 months, the pandemic chain will be broken in the country."

Abdoli demanded; “until the mass vaccination is complete, the protocols should be observed. Our people have to observe the protocols for 6 more months and we know that the situation will improve in our country after this period.”

* We are in favor of imported vaccines

"We are also in favor of imported vaccines: Besides local vaccine, the foreign vaccine should also be imported so that people may have the right to choose," he said.

In another part of his interview with Radio Goftogoo, Abdoli called the discussions in cyberspace about the shortage of raw materials as rumors and emphasized; "Today, the three-shift production line is working and we don’t have any problems in this regard."

"I’m a virology expert and we try to produce vaccines for the sake of people's health," he noted, “We’ll do our best to achieve mass vaccination.”


* Making up for previous lost opportunities

In an interview with the "Scientific Dialogue" program on Radio Goftogoo, Morteza Khatami, a member of Iran’s parliament health commission, emphasized that through vaccination, we should not allow the virus to cause various mutations; “There are many reasons for previous lost opportunities.”

He continued; "Of course, we accept that things could have been better than today, but now we should try to use internal and external resources and speed up vaccination."

Khatami stressed on the need to increase vaccine production and vaccination speed; “We intend to vaccinate different social groups to reduce casualties.”

* It’s necessary to continue research and development

The MP said that the issue is yet being pursued; “Governmental centers are managing it in a limited way, and various knowledge-based companies are also contributing.”

"We have to consider the disadvantages of these so that in the future, the principle of study and research will not be fruitless and doesn’t lead to discouragement," he added.

Khatami stated; "We should count on different vaccines and their doses in the near future, and in this regard management is significant."
